Natural Relief for Lower Back Pain
If you would ask around, you would observe that pain in the lower back is one of the most common problems that many adults endure. Brought about by possible reasons including muscle strain, sprained ligament, slipped disk and other joint problems, most cases of lower back pain came about due to carrying out activities that a person is not typically used to doing. Additionally, pain in this portion of the body can also happen to people who are spending long hours of sitting, lifting heavy objects, and wrong body posture especially when lifting heavy things. If you are searching for natural relief for lower back pain, you certainly made the right choice because although it would take a longer time to achieve this, it is far better solution compared to antibiotic treatment, which may bring about negative side effects to your body. Read on to learn some of the most common yet effective methods to provide relief from this painful condition...
One of the most popular method that you can carry out to provide natural relief for lower back pain is to use an ice pack. This is particularly useful when your lower back pain is caused by an injury or sudden blow to the back. All you have to do is put ice to a zip lock bag or a cold compress bag, wrap this in a towel and place it over the painful area for approximately 30 minutes. However, you should not overdo this. The ideal method is to apply ice pack at the maximum of three times a day on the interval of 30 minutes after each application.
Alternatively, you can also use hot compress if there is no swelling around the painful area. Applying heat to the painful area would somehow ease the tensed muscle within it; thus showing off remarkable change when it comes to the degree of pain felt.
Meditation, yoga, and reflexology are some of the most commonly preferred methods by people suffering from this condition that is really painful. This is especially beneficial for the pain in this portion of the back that is brought about by too much stress and tension. Since the previously mentioned approaches are known as relaxing techniques, it can assist in tremendous degrees in taking away the pain that originates from mental and physical stressors.
A simpler way of providing remedy for back pain is to opt for a body massage. This is essentially great for chronic types of pain in the lower back. More than that, it could also bring great relief for problems including anxiety, depression and stress since it could aid in providing relief and relaxing approach to muscle pain.
In the event that you have noticed a great reduction on the level of pain, you can consider working on light stretching exercises targeting the back. All you have to do is take one of your legs far ahead in front and then push your hips downwards until you feel a deep stretch. Be sure that the knee of your rear leg will not touch the floor so as to make the most out of this exercise.
While you are working on any method directed to obtain natural relief for lower back pain, it is important that you keep away from activities that would put much pressure to the muscles on your lower back. Try to rest your back until you have completely get rid of your painful lower back.

Soccer Cleats for HG, FG and SG. What's the Difference?
Almost every model of soccer cleats is made to be suitable for a different field condition.
HG (hard ground)- for playing on hard surfaces.
FG (firm ground) - for playing on firm surfaces.
SG (soft ground) - for playing on soft surfaces.
Why is it important to have the right soccer cleats for different types of field?
In order to play soccer to your best abilities, you have to have soccer cleats. For several reasons but the most important is: traction. The studs will prevent you from slipping, giving you opportunity to turn, stop and accelerate with ease.
In order to achieve it, soccer cleats outsole (bottom part of the shoe) has several hard rubber, plastic or metal studs that sink into the surface providing a good grip. But the studs have to be long enough to offer good traction and short enough not to cause discomfort from applying too much pressure on the feet.
In other words, the length of the studs and their count depends on types of the surface they would be the most adequate for.
It basically means that soccer cleats for HARD GROUND (surface) have short studs. They provide you with enough amount of traction but at this same time they don't apply too much pressure on your feet causing discomfort when your cleats are unable to dig into hard ground. If you play on very hard fields, Turf shoes (cleats - TF) would be your best choice.
SOFT GROUND (SG) cleats come with removable (in most cases) studs. There are few different lengths of the studs for different conditions of soft fields (soft and wet for example), so you can adjust them properly.
FIRM GROUND (FG) cleats are the most universal. FG cleats are good for all field types without going to extreme (very hard and very soft). Of course they are the most adequate for fields with the firm surface (something between hard and soft). But if you play on different types of fields and can't afford to have two or three types of soccer cleats, the FG is probably the most ultimate choice.

Soccer Fans
Soccer is a well-known sport practiced all over the world. People from kids to adults enjoy having a nice soccer game among them. On special events, such as tournaments and leagues, we are able to see how the soccer matches affect the whole community of soccer fans. However, each fan has its own way of expressing his or her passion for the sport. Among them we can distinguish the forced fan, the regular fan, and also the extreme fan.
First of all we have a very calm fan referred as forced fan. This kind of fan usually meets with his group of friends at a bar or at someone's house to watch an important soccer match. They enjoy watching a soccer game, but they do it mostly because their friends do so. They watch the game if they do not find anything better to do. Usually as the game goes on, they get distracted and lose track of which team is winning.
Similar to the forced fan, there is also a regular fan. However, this kind of fan enjoys every single minute of the game, whether he watches it at home or goes to the stadium if possible. It wouldn't matter if his friends cannot go with him; he goes because he wants to. In fact, he may make new friends at the stadium who also enjoys watching the game.
Finally and the most remarkable of fans is the extreme fan. As his name says, this fan takes watching and enjoying the games to another level. At home he does everything he can in order to watch the game with all the commodities possible, including foods and drinks. At the stadium, he cheers loudly for his team and boos on the other team. In some cases a group of friends paint their faces and chests with the color of their team. Another thing this fan may do is to get the football field, meanwhile the game is still going on, just to shake hands with his favorite player and get an autograph. Also, this may or may not have his clothes on when doing this.
Soccer is growing more popular over time, as well as the fans for this sport. Forced, regular, and extreme fans are the most common of all. If you are interested in this sport you may wonder on which of these categories you fit on, but remember that you can always be a fan in your own particular way.

Puma Shoes and Sneakers
Puma, originally founded in 1948, is a well-known sportswear and footwear company based in Germany. The company is probably most widely recognized for its association with the soccer (or European football) industry. Puma currently has a little over 9,000 employees on staff and distributes its products to more than 120 countries. In addition to shoes, sneakers, and clothing, Puma also produces numerous fashion accessories including watches, bags, backpacks, and swimsuits. Since 1996, the company has really shifted its marketing activities to increase sales in the United States.
Puma wishes to be the most desirable and recognizable brand when it comes to combining sports with fashion. As a result, you'll see many celebrities and famous athletes sporting the brand both on and off the field. Followers and fans who want to dress like their favorite star often want to buy the same shoes and outfits they wear. However, many people who aren't interested in sports or athletics at all will still wear Puma gear just because they think it looks good. Besides soccer and football, the companies products are also popular within the running, motor sports, BMX, golf, and sailing industries. Besides its main headquarters in Germany, the company also has offices in Boston, London, and Hong Kong.
One of the most popular and recognizable Puma shoes is the Speed Cat. This shoe comes in a variety of different colors and is very popular with racing and motor sport enthusiasts because of its sleek, lightweight design and appearance. A lot of people like this particular sneaker because it makes their feet look smaller than normal. Even though the sole looks very thin, many customers say that the shoe is much more comfortable than they expected and use them for everyday use. The Speed Cat is also very adaptable to all kinds of different outfits and even looks good with a fancy pair of jeans.

5 Mistakes Youth Soccer Coaches Make
Being a great youth soccer coach is not rocket science. You can do it, but you might need a bit of help to get off on the right foot. I've made plenty of mistakes over the years as a coach. Most of them weren't fatal, but having a good understanding of the most common mistakes and how to avoid them will help you have much more fun as you develop your own winning team of soccer studs.
5 Coaching Mistakes You Must Avoid:
Mistake #1 - The No Fun Coach
Members of the media call the NFL the "No Fun League" because the commissioner has outlawed
the celebrations and other things that really make the game entertaining. Unfortunately, the same
can be said of the majority of youth soccer coaches. Remember whom you are coaching.
Remember their age and think about how kids this age see things. Put yourself in their shoes if you can and always ask yourself "Would I have enjoyed this when I was a kid?" I'll give you a key hint here...Kids want to have fun playing soccer. They enjoy the game more when they get to touch the ball A LOT! They don't want to stand in line.
Mistake #2 - The Survivor Coach
The basic premise of the hit show Survivor is that a group of people are left on a deserted island to fend for themselves. They are given a couple of items when they arrive, but are not allowed to bring anything with them. I have witnessed numerous coaches that come to practice with that same philosophy.
They hardly bring any equipment with them at all. Fortunately, you don't need a ton of gear to run a quality soccer practice. With that said, having the right equipment can make all the difference between a losing team and one that gets better every single week. There are certain must-have items in your kit that so that you can go quickly from drill to drill and keep your players motivated and attentive. Be sure to bring plenty of balls and cones to every practice and things will run much more smoothly.
Mistake #3 - The Cool Hand Luke Coach
One of my favorite movie lines is from Cool Hand Luke where Strother Martin says, "What we have here is a failure to communicate." Most coaches and parents have this same problem. Establishing a clear line of communication with your soccer parents can be the difference between a fun-filled season of soccer and a descent into the depths of hell. Soccer moms and dads can be your strongest advocates or worst nightmare. If you set up a good phone & email system ahead of time, you can bet that coaching your team will take less time, be less frustrating and be much more productive!
Mistake #4 - The Drill Sergeant Coach
Most of the drills that you find in coaching books take way too long to setup, don't hold your kids interest and have your players standing around too much of the time. Good drills should feel more
like games to your kids. Your team shouldn't spend all of their time waiting in line to kick the ball.
They should be actively involved in the drills, get lots of touches and be on the fast track to becoming better players. Look for drills that involve most of your players at the same time. Look for drills that minimize standing in line and maximize time with the ball at your players feet.
Mistake #5 - The Nutty Professor Coach
I am constantly amazed at the coaches I see that just show up with a bunch of balls, some orange
cones and NO plan. They either forget what they were going to do, or don't have any idea in the first place.
In order to get the most out of your weekly practices, you need a solid plan for each practice. Ever see a coach who's team is running around all out of control? If you don't have a plan for your team, they will quickly develop a plan for you. Players should move from drill to drill and spend the majority of their time actually playing soccer. Designing a good practice plan can take a lot of time, but it is worth it.
Make sure that your players get a good warm up, individual skill time, group skill time & group game time in each and every practice.
In Conclusion
What kind of coach do you want to be? A frustrated, pulling your hair out babysitter? Or a fun-loving coach that is developing awesome soccer players on a weekly basis?

The Importance of Shoes For Your Sport
Ask any woman who has worn a pair of heels for a minute too long and she will tell you comfortable shoes that are appropriate for the occasion make the difference between having a god time and wishing you were home with your feet up. This is especially true with sports and shoes. Not only do the appropriate shoes ensure your comfort, they can prevent injury or even death.
The sports shoes of today are specially designed to accommodate and enhance the movements associated with any sport. Baseball, football and soccer require the ability to do quick stops and turns on slippery grass, so shoes for these sports feature cleats among other qualities. Runners run on firm surfaces, causing strain on bones, tendons and knees, so running shoes include shock absorbing technology. Walking shoes are designed to be flexible and compliment the rolling motion of the foot that takes place during walking. Shoes for boaters and kayakers feature soles that grip to enhance traction on wet surfaces. Hiking boots provide protection from the elements, as well as cushion feet from harm from rocks, animal bites and fatigue. These are just a few examples.
While it may not be worthwhile to invest in the proper shoes for a sport when you are just starting out, once you develop an affinity and passion for a sport, one of your first purchases should be a good pair of activity appropriate shoes. They will boost your performance by maximizing the conditions required to function well. At the same time, they create the conditions that will help you to keep yourself safe. Even if they are a significant investment, they are worth it, since they are far less expensive than the costs of a serious injury.

Cyber Crimes - Being Familiar With the Different Types of Internet-Related Crimes
With the prevalent use of the computer, come the possibility and the occurrence of many kinds of cyber crimes. To describe, cyber crimes are criminal activities which makes use of the internet technology to obtain unlawful or un-permitted access to a computer system or internet-related accounts with the purpose of damaging or altering computer or personal data. It involves illicit activities such as identity theft, data interference, electronic frauds, and abuse of devices. Although it may not always consist of damage to physical property, it may at the same time comprise of the intention to manipulate private data as well as critical information for a particular organization or person. Along with this, an individual needs to realize that the ever-continual discovery that leads to the progressive development of many things is some of the weapons used by many internet criminals to get through with their illegal activities. This article will provide basic information about different types of cyber crimes.
One of the most common types of cyber crimes is the act of trying to obtain confidential information such as account usernames, credit card information, and secret codes through acting as real and legal entities. This act known as phishing is accomplished by sending fraudulent emails or requiring individuals to provide confidential information in a bogus website. Most of the time, these cyber criminals make use of websites that are created to be mistaken as the website that they are trying to imitate; they are doing this to make the users confident and feel safe in providing their personal information.
Identity theft is also one of the most dangerous and deceptive schemes that one can encounter if they are not vigilant with their actions. A lot of people have been robbed of great amounts of money and other benefits because illicit minded individuals have used their identity. To be more precise, identity theft is the act of pretending to be somebody else by using your identity as if it is their own. For example, once your bank or credit card information has been stolen, it would be easier for a person to obtain goods and services by using your own information. Typically, identity theft is carried out in order to pursue illegal migration, blackmail and sometimes terrorism.
The popularity of using social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter as well as using instant messaging services and using chat rooms, joining forums and other internet forums make way for the possible undertaking of cyber stalking. This act can be defined as an action that is accomplished with the aim to torture other individuals through the use of the internet. Individuals who are prone to posting their daily activities and other personal information through these sites are at the greater risk of being harassed by others who are gathering this information to be used on them.
Indeed, there are plenty of cyber crimes that are transpiring at present. This all the more proves that people have to be extra careful with their actions when they are online. You have to understand that with the great benefits that internet technology can provide to many individuals, it also present possible threats that can bring damaging effects to an individual's life if they are not wary of their actions.

Adidas Predator Absolute TRX FG W Firm Ground Soccer Shoes For Women
The uppers are made of calfskin leather. It takes a little longer to break in calfskin leather than kangaroo leather, but then the calfskin is more durable. Predator technology is a feature of these shoes as well. According to the website, "Predator technology allows a player to increase control, swerve, power and accuracy when striking a ball. Features strategically placed rubber zones along five metatarsals on the upper of a soccer boot."
The external heel counter on the Adidas Predator Absolute TRX FG W Firm Ground Soccer Shoes for Women reduces the level of pressure on the Achilles and that can only be a good thing. Power Pulse technology redistributes the weight on the foot and actually creates power.
Cons: The Adidas Predator Absolute TRX FG W Firm Ground Soccer Shoes for Women run about one-half size small and they do not lace in the center.
Guarantee: There is a guarantee of satisfaction and a return policy posted on the Soccer.com website that reads in part: "All the products we sell are selected by players and coaches, thus we truly believe you will be pleased with the products and services we provide. We understand, however, that occasionally you may have to return something to us for a variety of reasons and to make it easier we have a no-hassle return and exchange policy."
Value for money: The Adidas Predator Absolute TRX FG W Firm Ground Soccer Shoes for Women appear to be an excellent value for women who play soccer.

Billy Wingrove - Learn Freestyle Football Vol 1 Review
I'm very keen in freestyle football since last year, 2006. So I watched a few video clips on the internet to learn a few tricks. I thought I'd give it a go on this DVD and see how it can improve my freestyle soccer tricks. Here's the review:
There are several features on this DVD and all are guided by Billy himself.
First Part
Recommends proper equipment like the outfit, shorts, shoes and a soccer ball for freestyle soccer. Teaches some basic warm-ups like stretching knees and calfs before you start practicing freestyle soccer. Then some basic juggling soccer skills and simple stalls on each part from foot to head.
Second Part
You'll learn some intermediate skills like Guardiolas. You'll also learn on combining previous skills that you've learned to form a simple combination. There are 3 combinations showed in this DVD varying in difficulty levels.
Third Part
In this section, you'll learn on how to apply certain tricks in the soccer field. Billy will show you on a futsal turf on how to do soccer tricks like Penalty X, Cyclone and many more.
In between the 3 parts of this DVD will show Billy Wingrove's background, his favourite Premiership team, his career and where he started playing freestyle soccer.
My Recommendation
After watching this DVD for several times, I found that the DVD is useful for newbies in freestyle soccer. If you're unfamiliar to basic soccer skills, then this is the DVD for you because Billy will show step-by-step with slow motion in each soccer trick. But for those who are intermediates and advance freestylers may get disappointed because the lack of cool, hard-to-do tricks.
Overall the DVD has an excellent replay value and it's worth investing to start your freestyle soccer adventure.

Soccer Is Life and A Journey
When you love the game of soccer it takes you into deep thought as a player, coach, spectator, or fan of the best teams in the world. What gives someone the drive to expect nothing but perfection from the athletes that you coach, support, or teammates that you play with. What is this game all about?
The word more is a very small word. But in life it seems to have deep and large meanings. For instance take the acronym M-O-R-E. "M" means Manage, "O" means Opportunity, "R" means Run the Race, and "E" means "End". So, "Manage Opportunity Run the Race and End".
Manage: A player who manages his time, trains in the morning, studies, and moves on to higher levels.
Opportunity: Who do opportunities come to, a player, coach, or person at the right place at the right time? Or a person who goes out and puts forth the effort to manage his time properly.
Run the Race: Regardless of opportunities even if you manage your time it seems as though the race is still difficult. We keep running and running trying to accomplish goals that we have never completed before, and sometimes trying to repeat goals that we can not accomplish any more.
"We keep on running but we can't get away from ourselves." -- Bob Marley
Many players spend their entire lives trying to get the opportunity to represent their country in the 1980's and 1990's. In the 80's and 90's every player that represented their national team were known players in their countries. Today in the 2000's, players are getting away with "murder". There is a large difference as players today are not the best known players in their villages, towns, or cities, but they are representing their country's national teams. Today's player who is running the race must place himself in situations where he is around people that matter. To be selected by a college coach to further his education in addition to a college coach with connections where he could end up on the national team level. Is it true that the player must be a special athlete? Because we can see today that the largest clubs in world soccer are now giving in to the mighty dollar. Where is the man with passion, dedication, who is running this race for the game of soccer who is a die hard fan.
End: How many more players, coaches, teachers will die with no thanks being given to them for what they have accomplished in your lives and lives of people all over the world.
We all want more but how much more can you give to a society that always wants more. As we say in the United States, "What have you done for me lately?" Its not what was done yesterday, but what are you going to do today.

Barefoot Training For Soccer Players Increases Their Speed and Explosiveness
Do you want to get faster and more explosive on the soccer field? Would you like to lower the risk of getting injured? If so, keep reading!
Many soccer teams that I train or athletes that I work with share a common trait when they warm up...they all warm up in their bare feet. Here is the reason for that. By wearing shoes all the time, we are not strengthening the small muscles in the foot as well as we could. Shoes obviously serve a purpose, but try warming up your team without their shoes on and by doing this you will start to strengthen all of those small muscles in the feet, you will also help to strengthen the joints and ligaments in the ankle and lower leg as well.
I have written before about the Active Dynamic Warm up (ADW). If players do their ADW (series of exercises to warm their core body temperature up and then stretch dynamically) before their practice starts, they will in effect be doing themselves a huge favor.
Since soccer players (and most athletes) use their feet so much to not only play the sport of soccer but to be athletic too, training their feet to get stronger will absolutely increase their soccer speed, make them stronger which in turn will make them more explosive and will also reduce the number of lower leg injuries as well.
While I know this example is a bit of a reach, if you consider it, then you can see how barefoot training can effect your feet. Alright, so here is the example. If you wore baseball gloves on your hands for 2 weeks and did your normal routine, when you took the baseball gloves off and then tried to open a brand new jar of peanut butter, you probably couldn't do it. The small muscles in your hand got weaker since you didn't use them fully. The same thing applies when you wear shoes.
If you do a barefoot warm up, please make certain to clear the area of any rocks or sticks or anything that could injure a players foot. If you train indoors, then this issue is greatly reduced.
Just 15 minutes of barefoot training will help soccer players generate more speed, increase their agility and help to reduce lower leg and foot injuries.
I hope you have a great day!

Watching For Soccer Penalty Kick Trickery
As if soccer penalty kicks weren't difficult enough for goalkeepers, there is a new wave of penalty kick trickery gaining in popularity. This technique called the parardinha, though not new, is causing quite a bit of discussion among soccer organizations, referees, players, and even fans. The opinions are varied as to whether this should be allowed to continue, or if it should be ruled "unsporting behavior."
This bit of penalty kick trickery takes place when the kicker makes a run at the ball, then hesitates before actually taking the shot. In that moment of hesitation the kicker can see which way the keeper is diving, and then makes an adjustment that typically results in an easy goal.
The paradinha (pronounced par-a-JEEN-ya), which is Portuguese for "little stop" was first popularized by Pele. While used frequently in Brazil it never really caught on in other soccer leagues until recently. Now with the upcoming World Cup many organizations, including FIFA are trying to decide whether the move is legal or not.
In the past the rule of thumb was that the designated kicker needed to make a continuous move through the ball. Anything else was considered to be unsporting. The problem is, the laws of the game do not specify that the move needs to be continuous. Soccer organizations have specified that unsporting behavior in a PK is:
Excessively long runs at the ball
Repeatedly changing directions
Stopping and backing up
These are considered cautionable offenses, and will typically draw a yellow card.
However, the paradinha does not fall into any of these areas. Although the kicker stops the forward momentum, they do not change direction or back up. They simply stop, and then take an easy kick.
FIFA took up the discussion of the kicker "feinting" in order to draw the keeper off balance, and decided that feinting is not an offense. Despite that ruling, some referees still penalize for feinting, partially because there is no clear definition of what constitutes feinting.
What will be interesting is seeing how this move is handled as soccer once agin moves to the international spotlight with the beginning of the World Cup. There is speculation that the paradinha will be allowed in some countries, while others will deem it to be unsporting.
Penalty kick trickery is nothing new. Johan Cruyff made the penalty kick pass famous when instead of shooting on goal he lightly kicked the ball to the side, where a teammate dribbled toward the goal, passing back to Cruyff who then shot the goal. Only time will tell if the paradinha will be treated in a similar fashion, or whether soccers ruling body will decide that it will not be allowed.

Soccer Lessons - How To Kick a Soccer Ball Properly
One of the most important soccer lessons and the first thing to know on kicking a soccer ball is what not to do. Do not kick a soccer ball with your toes, unless you are poking the ball to steel it from an opponent. There is not enough surface area on the toes to be able to aim the ball properly.
When kicking the ball the most powerful place to strike the ball with is the instep of your foot (the place where the shoelaces are). You will use this kicking technique most often.
Your supporting foot should be in line with the ball and the leg should be slightly bent. Once you strike the ball, follow through with a sweeping motion.
The inside of the foot is also used to kick the ball.
The supporting foot should be pointed at the target and in line with the ball.
Swing your kicking foot through the ball using a sweeping motion.
The ball should move smoothly along the ground.
A more advanced kick is achieved by using the outside of the foot
The supporting foot should be angled at about 15º from the target.
You need to be sure your foot is firmly locked before striking the ball.
This is one of the most important soccer lessons and guidelines that you should follow when kicking a soccer ball.
