We can say that, these days one of the biggest health problems with people all around the globe is lack of good sleep. Not enough sleep can result with stress, tiredness and in many cases with development of diseases. With few little steps, you can prevent insomnia and finally get a good night sleep.
First thing is that you have to throw out your TV from a bedroom. Use your bedroom only for sleeping. Even if you watch something nice and easy on TV, and you think that that will comfort you and make you sleepy, your brain is working in full speed in background, trying to process all images that you watching on TV. And, you actually need to slow down your brain. So, TV out of the bedroom.
Many researches show that humans have sleeping patterns. So, that is why you need to go to sleep in about same time each night. When your body and mind need some rest, then you should give it to them. Try to make a schedule and stick to that.
Try not to drink coffee and alcohol at least three hours before sleep. Caffeine and alcohol prevent your body to fall in to deep sleep, where you getting your rest, and sometimes it even prevent you to fall a sleep at all.
If you eat a lot of hard food, especially junk food, before sleep, it's not going to help you with your sleep. It will also prevent your body to fall into a deep sleep, and sometimes you will have bad dreams during the night, and we all know that if you dreaming bad dreams, you are more tired when you wake up in the morning, then you were in the evening before sleep.
